Biomass Boilers & Heat Plants

Introduction

At Visdamax, we provide smart, sustainable heating solutions designed for the timber and wood processing industries. Whether you’re drying timber, powering kilns or running a co-generation plant, our biomass-fired boilers and heat plants offer a reliable and eco-friendly way to meet your energy needs. With over 20 years of experience and systems installed in countries like Japan, New Zealand, Australia, and Malaysia, we understand the challenges of working with wet fuels and high heat demand so we’ve engineered systems that can handle both with ease.

If you’re in the timber industry, you know how important reliable and consistent heat is for drying timber, generating steam or running kilns. At Visdamax, we provide complete biomass boiler systems that convert timber waste (like sawdust and woodchips) into clean and usable heat. With over 20 years of experience and systems running in countries like Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, we offer smart, sustainable energy solutions tailored for timber processing.

Our systems include the Bio-T Turbomax, a fully automated boiler that runs on wet or dry wood residues and delivers steady heat with minimal operator effort. It uses smart controls (PLC & SCADA) to automate fuel feeding, temperature settings, and safety functions. For more basic needs, we also offer the Combimax, a semi-automated boiler ideal for smaller operations. Both options can be customized with hot water, thermal oil, or steam outputs, and we also offer filtration systems to meet environmental regulations.

Features

Bio-T (Fully Automated System)

High-moisture fuel compatibility (up to 130% MC on dry basis). Fully automated PLC & SCADA control for fuel, air, temperature, and pressure. Cyclonic combustion chambers ensure clean burning with minimal fly ash. Single FD fan only. No ID fan required. Saves electricity costs. Pile bed design allows for high turndown ratios of 5:1 is possible. Low maintenance: No grates, minimal moving parts, and air jacket insulation. Modular design: Shippable in containers and scalable (Boilers up to 10MWth). Compatible with multiple boiler types (water tube, fire tube, thermal oil coils). Filtration options: ESP, bagfilter, cyclone/multicyclone for various emissions limits.

Combimax (Semi-Automated System)

Economical, low capital investment with simple manual operation. Accepts wood and palm biomass fuels with up to 60% MC on dry basis. Suitable for timber drying, small-scale power, agriculture, and commercial heating. Boiler configuration: Combines fire tube and water wall in one compact unit. Infeed flexibility: manual, blow-in, or conveyor. Upgrade-able to moving / step grate systems for auto de-ashing. Optional partial PLC automation for monitoring and record keeping.

Benefit

With Visdamax, you’ll cut down fuel costs, reduce smoke and emissions, and get more efficient heat for your drying kilns and production lines. Our boilers are designed for easy maintenance, longer runtime, and low manpower requirements. Best of all, you’ll turn your timber waste into valuable energy, helping you save money and operate more sustainably.
